Job summary

Elk Run Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring Caregivers/QMAPs to join the Evergreen, CO team. This role offers 7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am shifts with a wage range of $18–$25 per hour, based on experience.

We train as a QMAP after 90 days and provide CPR certification if needed. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, administering treatments under RN guidance, recording vitals, documenting in charting systems, and performing light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, nurturing personality.
• Preference and higher wage given to those who are QMAPs, CNAs, HHAs.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain independence with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration; report changes to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care including hair shampoo, showering/bathing, nails.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

QMAPsare responsible for providing hands-on care for residents in an Assisted Living setting. The QMAP supports with caregiving duties and overseeing the passing of medications as directed by their doctors.

Full-Time Shifts Available:

• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care.
