Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support and build meaningful connections that brighten each resident's day in our Illinois community.

You will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans, promote safety and dignity, engage residents in activities, and collaborate with families and care teams. Paid training and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
