Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands‑on support and build meaningful relationships with residents in Alexandria, VA. You will assist with daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, and contribute to a warm, safe environment.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour based on experience, with a broad range of benefits and opportunities for career growth. CMS guidelines and company values guide daily interactions and care planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must be 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for memory‑loss residents.

What We’re Looking For:
