Job summary

Howard County Government seeks a skilled professional to develop and oversee the Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP). The role includes program development, community outreach, partnerships, and education, with supervision of staff and grant oversight within the Age-Friendly division.

The position emphasizes compliance, quality measurement, and collaboration with the Maryland Department of Aging, aiming to improve services for caregivers and families in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience or training in federally funded aging programs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer FCSP ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Measure client outcomes and promote quality improvement.
• Oversee data collection, reports to Maryland Department of Aging, and annual updates to FCSP.
• Supervise staff and participate in AAA management team.
• Develop caregiver services and expand outreach and partnerships.
