Job summary

Starkey, Inc. is seeking Program Trainers to join the Day Support Program on our main Wichita campus. You will support adults with disabilities by providing training, facilitating daily routines, and helping develop life skills.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll lead social and coping-skills activities, assist with personal care, and supervise participants during structured activities and community outings in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or WorkKeys Bronze Certificate.
• Valid driver's license.
• Paid training for 3–4 weeks (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to adults with disabilities in a day program setting.
• Teach social, communication, and coping skills.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines as needed.
• Engage individuals in structured activities and community outings.
• Work closely with a supportive team to help individuals reach their goals.

Starkey is hiring Program Trainers to work in our Day Support Program on our main Wichita campus.

In this role, you'll support adults with disabilities by providing training, support, direct care, and safety.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily support to adults with disabilities in a day program setting
• Teach social, communication, and coping skills
• Assist with personal care and daily routines as needed
• Engage individuals in structured activities as well as participate in fun community outings and activities such as Zoo, local parks, Exploration Place, etc.
• Work closely with a supportive team to help individuals reach their goals

This is hands‑on, meaningful work where your patience and consistency truly matter.

Schedule & Location

• Daytime hours (Typically M-F 8:00am-4:00pm)
• Main campus Day Support program
• No overnight shifts

Pay

• Starting at $15.00/hour

Requirements
