Starkey, Inc. in Wichita, KS, is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities in group homes and day programs.

No prior experience needed; we offer paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow, so you can make a meaningful difference in your community. You will support individuals with daily living, assist with personal hygiene and basic household tasks, and may join interactive activities in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Pass drug and alcohol screenings and criminal background checks.
• 2–4 weeks of paid training, M-F 8:30am–5:00pm.
• ASL (American Sign Language) optional, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in a group home setting.
• Teach and interact with persons served to help them reach their full potential.
• Assist with personal hygiene and basic household duties.
• Participate in interactive activities such as local events and outings.
