Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist at our Seabrook at Murrells Inlet Community in Murrells Inlet, SC. You will support residents with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and help implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and simple treatments per service plans.
• Observe and report resident needs and problems to supervisor or LPN/Medication Tech.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and team meetings; perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
