Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in Lombard, IL. You will help seniors stay safe and independent at home, providing non-medical care with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transporting with adherence to the care plan. We offer paid training, weekly pay, flexible hours, and benefits where available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year home care experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Very reliable and compassionate with good bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support physical therapy and exercises as prescribed.
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report incidents to the Care Coordinator.
• Follow the care plan and respond to emergencies.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.
