Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in the Winfield, IL area. You will receive paid training, weekly pay, and a flexible schedule while providing non-medical home care with genuine heart.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license, to support clients in DuPage, Will & Cook Counties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience.
• Must be reliable and compassionate with strong bedside manner.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility to appointments and activities.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support physical therapy and other prescribed exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany shopping as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report any unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
• Follow the Care plan and respond quickly in emergencies.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.
