Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in New Lenox, IL. We offer non-medical home care with training and flexible hours. You will provide medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation between clients.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan

Caregiver responsibilities:

Caregiver Requirements:

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time
