Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care in Shakopee, MN is seeking compassionate Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR) to provide person-centered care to our residents in a 32-unit assisted living memory care community.

You will assist with daily living, mobility, and medication administration with training provided, engage residents, and participate in light housekeeping and meals. PM shift is 2PM-10PM; weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum caregiving experience preferred (6+ months).
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to pass medications (training provided).
• CPR/First Aid knowledge preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work PM shift and weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration (training provided).
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in condition to leadership.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergencies.

About the Role:

• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience (in Assisted Living/Memory Care preferred)
• CNA Certification preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass medications (we'll train you!)
• CPR/First Aid knowledge preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability
• PM Shift (2PM-10PM) Availability

All shifts (PT & FT) must be available to work every other weekend
