Manna Support Services LLC is seeking a caregiver to support one client in the New Haven area on weekdays, mornings, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The role blends in-home care with community outings, including meal prep, laundry, errands, and light transportation.

The position involves personal care (toileting and assisting with walking) and requires patience, dignity, and respect. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential; background check will be conducted.

About the role

We're looking for a caregiver to support one of our clients in the New Haven area every weekday morning. Your day will mix hands-on help at home with getting out into the community: preparing meals and laundry, driving to activities and social outings, and helping with errands and purchases along the way.

This role includes personal care, like help with toileting and steadying the client while walking, so it's a great fit for someone who is comfortable with hands-on care and treats it with patience and dignity.

What you'll do

• Help prepare laundry and meals
• Drive the client to and from activities and social outings
• Assist with toileting and personal care, with respect for the client's privacy and dignity
• Provide steady support with balance while walking
• Help the client budget and make purchases when out in the community, keeping receipts and records accurate
• Communicate any concerns or changes to the Manna team promptly

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. This role includes driving the client
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including toileting and support while walking
• Trustworthy and careful with money. You'll be helping handle the client's purchases
• Available every weekday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Patient, calm, and respectful
• Able to pass a Connecticut background check
• 1-3 years of caregiving experience. CNA, HHA, or PCA certification are a plus, but not required.
