Manna Support Services LLC is seeking a caregiver to assist a Greenwich client on weekdays, helping build independence through outings and community activities. The role emphasizes coaching the client to navigate and enjoy activities in their neighborhood.

Work is weekday-only, about 30 hours weekly, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Greenwich, CT, with pay at $23.50 per hour plus $0.64 per mile driven for the client. This part-time W-2 position offers local team support.

About the role

We're looking for a caregiver to help one of our clients in Greenwich build independence out in their community. Each weekday, you'll plan and go on outings together: the gym, the rec center, shopping, coffee, a movie. The goal is for the client to learn their way around and feel confident doing these things on their own.

This is a great fit for someone who knows Greenwich well, enjoys being active and out and about, and likes coaching someone toward independence rather than doing things for them.

What you'll do

• Plan and go on community outings with the client, like the gym, rec center, shopping, coffee, and movies

• Help the client learn to navigate their community and get comfortable in it
• Drive the client to and from outings
• Encourage the client to take the lead, stepping in only when they need support
• Communicate progress, concerns, or changes to the Manna team

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. Transportation is required for this role
• Familiar with Greenwich and the surrounding area
• Available every weekday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Active, outgoing, and enjoys being out in the community
• Patient and encouraging. You help someone do it, not do it for them
• Able to pass a Connecticut background check
