Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking dedicated caregivers to support residents in the Uniontown area within the Assisted Living program. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor needs, and help residents maintain dignity and independence in a compassionate, team-focused setting.

The role involves medication reminders, personal care, documentation, and collaboration with supervisors to ensure safe and respectful care for all residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to communicate with staff and residents.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Compassionate, professional, kind and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and multitask safely.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the resident care schedule as set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily care logs and report concerns to supervisor.
• Respect residents’ independence, dignity and confidentiality.
• Contribute to a positive, safe and respectful living environment.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents' confidentiality.
• Pay Rate: $16.00.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
