Job summary

Compassus in Corona, CA is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver to assist clients with daily activities, nutrition, mobility, and personal care in their homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

Requirements include a valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, experience with older adults or disabled individuals, CNA or nursing student status, and BLS within 30 days. We offer mileage reimbursement, orientation, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance (driving may be necessary).
• Experience working with older adults and/or physically disabled individuals.
• Professional caregiver experience, nursing student clinical experience, or active CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, transfers and ambulation.
• Provide meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry and light housekeeping.
• Support daily activities and exercises as directed by the Plan of Care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition; build positive relationships with clients and families.
