Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Wheaton, IL seeks a caring Caregiver to support residents with daily activities and personal care. You will follow individualized plans, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents through conversation and activities to brighten each day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
