Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in California. You will provide hands-on support with daily living activities, follow personalized care plans, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment for residents.

You will engage with residents through conversations and activities, assist dining services, and collaborate with families and care teams. The role offers paid training and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Pay Range:

17.20 - 21.55

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
