Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in California is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to be at the heart of our mission, providing hands-on support and building meaningful relationships with residents. You’ll follow care plans, assist with ADLs, and help create a warm, safe environment that encourages independence and engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
