Job summary

Live Star Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Personal Care Aide to assist seniors in their homes with daily activities and companionship. You will support clients with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and mobility in a respectful, dignified manner.

The role requires flexibility to cover 7 days a week, 9AM–7PM shifts, with training provided for those new to caregiving. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred to serve clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be available 7 days a week, 9AM–7PM.
• Minimum age 18 years; caregiving experience preferred (training provided).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals according to dietary preferences.
• Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies.

Position Summary

The Caregiver / Personal Care Aide provides non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. This position focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and caring home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean-living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement throughout their homes.
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities (as assigned).
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies to ensure consistent and reliable service.

Qualifications

MUST BE AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK 9AM - 7PM

Minimum age of 18 years. Previous caregiving experience need, CNA, or home care experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality.
Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers.

Flexible Schedules

Flexible schedules available: Full-time Part-time Live-in Overnight needed). PRN (as Caregivers can choose shifts that best fit their lifestyle. Weekend availability is a plus.
