Live Star Home Care is seeking a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Care Aide to provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities and promote independence in a safe home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available 7 days a week 9am–7pm.
• Minimum age 18 years; caregiving experience preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Support transfers, ambulation, and safe movement in clients’ homes.
• Provide non-medical medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies.

Position Summary

The Caregiver / Personal Care Aide provides non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. This position focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and caring home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean-living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement throughout their homes.
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities (as assigned).
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies to ensure consistent and reliable service.

Qualifications

• MUST BE AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK 9AM - 7PM
• Minimum age of 18 years. Previous caregiving experience need, CNA, or home care experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus

Flexible schedules available

Full-time Part-time Live-in Overnight needed). PRN (as Caregivers can choose shifts that best fit their lifestyle. Weekend availability is a plus.
