Job summary

Live Star Home Care in Castle Rock, CO is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Aides to provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors and clients with disabilities. You will assist with daily living tasks, promote independence, and follow care plans in a respectful home environment.

Applicants should be available 7 days a week 9am–7pm; CNA/HHA certification is preferred but training is provided. You must have reliable transportation and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be available 7 days a week 9am–7pm.
• Minimum age 18 years; caregiving experience preferred or CNA/home care training.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals according to dietary preferences.
• Support transfers, ambulation, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide non-medical medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities.
• Observe and report changes to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies.

Position Summary

The Caregiver / Personal Care Aide provides non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. This position focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and caring home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean-living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement throughout their homes.
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities (as assigned).
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies to ensure consistent and reliable service.

Qualifications

MUST BE AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK 9AM - 7PM

Minimum age of 18 years. Previous caregiving experience need, CNA, or home care experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality.
Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers.

• Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Training
• Medication Administration (QMAP)
• CNA or HHA certification (optional)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus

Flexible Schedules

Flexible schedules available: Full-time Part-time Live-in Overnight needed). PRN (as Caregivers can choose shifts that best fit their lifestyle. Weekend availability is a plus.
