PART-TIME TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT JOB DESCRIPTION
The Registrar of Voters Office is responsible for maintaining voter registration records, administering candidate nomination procedures, conducting federal, state, local, and school elections, and enforcing campaign reporting laws.
Election Worker Information and Job Description: The San Diego County Registrar of Voters seeks to fill part-time temporary positions to support community outreach activities for the upcoming July 1, 2025, Election cycle.
Work Hours: During election preparation, overtime may be required with little notice. Time off is limited during the cycle. Normal hours are 8 am to 5 pm, but schedules may include evenings and weekends depending on assignment.
The ideal candidate supports the Voter Outreach Coordinator and team, assisting with outreach programs and supporting language and general outreach initiatives. Candidates should be bilingual, communicative, customer service-oriented, punctual, flexible, and able to exercise sound judgment in a busy environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Translation and proofreading skills in Spanish, Filipino, Chinese, and Vietnamese are required.
