Job summary

Your Home Assistant, Napa, CA, is seeking dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide one-on-one in-home support. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, errands, and transportation, while monitoring client health and reporting changes to the care team.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible day, night, weekend shifts, weekly pay, training, and growth opportunities. A compassionate mindset and reliable transportation are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving, healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home support (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to work independently in a one‑on‑one setting.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• A genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Medication reminders.
• Mobility assistance (in‑home and appointments).
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation (appointments, school pick‑up/drop‑off, outings).
• Providing parental support and respite care.
• Observing and reporting changes in condition.
