Job summary

Your Home Assistant is seeking caregivers to join our California team. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities across day, night, overnight and weekend shifts, in‑person at client homes.

You’ll provide hands‑on, personalized support, including ADLs, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving, healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home support (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to work independently in a one‑on‑one setting.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• A genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Medication reminders.
• Mobility assistance (in‑home and appointments).
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation (appointments, school pick‑up/drop‑off, outings).
• Providing parental support and respite care.
• Observing and reporting changes in condition.
• Responding responsibly in urgent or emergency situations.
