Job summary

Wallick Senior Living in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver for a full-time 7am-3pm role. You will provide daily care and personal services to residents, assist with activities, and support independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Assists residents with personal hygiene, bathing, and toileting.
• Responds promptly to call lights and resident/family needs.
• Encourages resident participation in activities and events.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining, and other events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivatedto do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
