Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to support residents in a warm, team-oriented environment. The role emphasizes dignified personal care, daily living assistance, and fostering independence for seniors in the community.

Responsibilities include helping residents with hygiene, mobility, activities, and meals, while ensuring safety and comfort. A high school diploma or GED is required, CPR certification preferred, and Nurse Aide certification is a plus.

• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.

Pay Rate: $16/hour plus shift differential

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning by helping them thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.
• Work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.
• Provide exceptional personal service and dailycare to residents.
• Provide physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and/or family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified
• Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co‑workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is aplus
