Altra Homecare Group is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Kokomo, Indiana. The PCA will deliver essential personal care services tailored to each patient’s needs in a homecare setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health, and documenting care under supervision. Applicants should be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and have CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Current CPR certification; 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety and report changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
