Job summary

ComForCare in Michigan is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent in their own homes. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and respite support for families.

We value training, advancement opportunities, and flexible schedules with competitive pay. CNA is preferred but not required, vaccination is optional, and reliable transportation is needed to serve local seniors in Canton Township.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a caregiver in homes or senior communities required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Vaccination preferred but not required.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Education
