Job summary

Right at Home Yuba City is seeking CNAs and Personal Care Assistants for night shifts and weekend coverage to support seniors and adults with disabilities in home settings.

Join a nationwide home care company with over 25 years of experience and be essential in helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transferring/moving client within the home.
• Housekeeping tasks: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, cleaning bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/showering/dressing/shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Provide companionship (reading, music, puzzles, etc.).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
