Job summary

Right at Home is seeking Overnight Caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Join a mission-driven team that emphasizes dignity, safety, and high-quality care.

You will provide personal care, mobility support, medication reminders, and companionship, while following care plans and ensuring client comfort and safety throughout overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Drug Free Workplace
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, and Personal Care Aide certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, and cleaning bathrooms
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Provide medication reminders
• Support routine range-of-motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving the client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Drug Free Workplace
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, and Personal Care Aide certification preferred
