Job summary

Right at Home is hiring Immediate openings for Caregivers in Columbus, OH. We welcome CNA or Personal Care Assistant candidates to help seniors and adults with disabilities live safely at home.

As a team member, you’ll provide daily living assistance, companionship, and support with mobility, medication reminders, meals, and light housekeeping. We offer PPE, paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth in a fast-growing home care company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check; CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Performing housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping floors, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning bathroom).
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles.

Skills
