BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, CA is seeking experienced caregivers for part-time 4-hour shifts. Join our team to deliver compassionate, personalized home care and support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity.

We offer flexible per diem scheduling and a supportive environment. Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, CPR and TB testing are required, with registration or willingness to register with the Home Care Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.

• Assist with light housekeeping and tidying living areas.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report to medical professionals.
• Document visits and create care notes.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality.

Duties

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands and other
• Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals
• Document tasks and create care notes for each visit
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality

Requirements Caregiver

• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable, Insured Vehicle
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Registration or willing to register to be on the Home Care Aide Registry
• 1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / Home Care Aide or similar (preferred)
