Job summary

Griswold Home Care of Palo Alto is hiring compassionate Caregivers to join our team. We offer $27/hour pay, with weekly direct deposit, flexible part-time shifts, and paid training including CPR/dementia care.

Shifts are available in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Atherton with a focus on delivering compassionate care in clients' homes. A $500 referral bonus is offered for helping grow the caregiver team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years caregiving experience is a plus
• Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog)
• Ability to meet California Caregiver registration requirements (we can help you register)
• Reliable transportation is required
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and positive interaction with clients
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene
• Light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation
• Provide medication and appointment reminders
• Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Document shifts clearly and communicate with the office team

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Caregiver, you'll help seniors live fully and independently in the homes they love. Shifts are flexible --- some clients need as little as 4 hours of care, others up to 24-hour support. Your day-to-day may include:
