Job summary

New Communities, Inc. is seeking a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) for our assisted living home in Biddeford, ME. You will deliver compassionate caregiver support, assist with personal care, and encourage residents to enjoy activities.

PSSs do not pass medications, but there are opportunities to advance to CRMA with a $2 increase upon promotion. We offer paid training, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 403(b) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• 18 years of age or over.
• Experience in direct care preferred but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver support to seniors in an assisted living setting.
• Assist with personal care and encourage participation in activities.
• No medication passing; opportunity to advance to CRMA with pay increase.
