Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes around East Smithfield.

No professional caregiving experience is required; if you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk with you. Responsibilities include daily living support, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and accompanying errands or appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Able to complete required background checks.
• Dependable, caring and patient.

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming

• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
