Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in the client’s home in East Smithfield and surrounding communities.

You’ll build a relationship with the person you’re supporting to help them stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, with flexible scheduling and weekend shifts. No professional experience required, but prior caregiving is a plus; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.

Responsabilités

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual’s care plan.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you’re supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
