Job summary

Independent Home Health LLC is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes in East Smithfield and nearby areas. You’ll build relationships, help clients stay safe and independent, and work overnight shifts if needed.

No professional caregiving experience is required; if you’re reliable and patient, we’d love to talk with you. We offer flexible scheduling, full- and part-time opportunities, and a team-based support structure.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass background checks.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• You must be dependable, caring and patient.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you’re supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
