Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking Home Health Aides to provide private duty in-home care for clients in the Barryton area. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and the ability to travel within the service area. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• CPR certification preferred or required where applicable.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• Ability to work independently with integrity and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing.
• Slide board transfers.
• Range of motion activities (approx 15 minutes).
• Commode assistance.
• ADLs (activities of daily living).
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Drive handicap van as needed (client may drive).

Caregiver would be responsible for:

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board Transfers
• Range of Motion ( Approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• ADL's
• Light housework duty (Cleaning, assistance with cooking as needed)
• Driving Handicap van as needed, typically client can drive themself.

Must be reliable and a Team Player!

• High School Graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to work independently with integrity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background
