Job summary

Executive Home Care of South Tampa is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes. You will join a dedicated team committed to improving the lives of individuals in need, delivering ADLs assistance, meal prep, and companionship.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), prior caregiver experience, CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication, and the ability to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Offer companionship and social interaction, accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Monitor clients health and report changes to the care team; document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

• Medication Reminders:
  • Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
  • Support clients in managing their medication routines.
• Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Companionship and Social Interaction:
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Health Monitoring:
  • Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
  • Document care provided and any notable observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.

• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
