Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities at Auberge at Oak Village, Menomonee Falls, WI. You will provide personal care, help with meals, housekeeping, and social activities to support resident well‑being.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, basic reading/writing skills and be able to communicate in English. Prior dementia care experience and state‑regulated certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Basic reading and writing, and ability to speak English clearly.
• Experience: Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; dementia experience preferred.
• Certification: Certification required according to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in all aspects of daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation and information needs.
• Support resident well‑being by maintaining safety, dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with Health & Wellness Team to ensure quality resident care.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Knowledge and experience in working with elderly & previous dementia experience preferred
Certification: Certification required according to state regulations

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis; Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning); Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment and ability to operate clothes washers and dryers and kitchen appliances
