Job summary

Auberge at Oak Village in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a dedicated Caregiver. You will help residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, assist with meals, housekeeping, and activities, and support social engagement. You will be part of the Health & Wellness Team ensuring quality, compassionate care.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, basic English communication, and state certification. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak English clearly.
• Experience working with elderly and dementia is preferred.
• Certification required in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, meals, and mobility.
• Support residents with housekeeping, laundry and transportation as needed.
• Engage residents in social activities, orientation and information needs.
• Monitor health status and communicate concerns to the Health & Wellness Team.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report incidents according to policy.

This includes personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation and information needs. Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Knowledge and experience in working with elderly & previous dementia experience preferred
Certification: Certification required according to state regulations

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis; Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning); Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment and ability to operate clothes washers and dryers and kitchen appliances
