Job summary

Griswold Home Care Frederick County is hiring part-time caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care and companionship to older adults in their homes. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, PTO/holiday pay, benefits, and career development opportunities.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and able to travel within Frederick County. CPR is required, and a background check will be completed. CNA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Keep families and office informed with timely care updates.

Who We're Looking For

• A compassionate, reliable, and responsible person who takes pride in their work
• CNA certification is a plus, but not a requirement
• CPR Certification required

• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within Frederick County
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred
