Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Howard County, Maryland is actively seeking part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults across Howard County. You’ll join a caregiver-focused team that values your contributions and offers weekly pay, benefits, and ongoing development.

The role supports daily living activities, light housekeeping, transportation, and memory care assistance, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide home care

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to and from appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support; keep families and the office updated with care notes.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting

Who We're Looking For

• A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required
• CPR Certification required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• COMFORTABLE WORKING IN PET-FRIENDLY HOMES, INCLUDING CATS AND DOGS
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred
