Job summary

Griswold Home Care in Westminster, MD is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time roles across Carroll County. You will assist clients with daily personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation, while maintaining open communication with families and the office.

CPR certification is required, TB clearance per regulatory guidance, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, and you’ll travel within Frederick County as

Qualifications

• CPR Certification required.
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• At least one year of caregiving/home care experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes (cats and dogs).
• Valid driver''s license and dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within Frederick County.
• Criminal background check required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Provide timely care updates to families and the office team.

A Look at Your Day-to-Day

Who We're Looking For

• A compassionate, reliable, and responsible person who takes pride in their work
• CNA certification is a plus, but not a requirement
• CPR Certification required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• COMFORTABLE WORKING IN PET-FRIENDLY HOMES, INCLUDING CATS AND DOGS
• Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within Frederick County
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred
