Job summary

Truewood by Merrill, Georgetown is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist seniors on a NOC shift, delivering daily living support and respectful, dignified care within a welcoming community.

Caregivers assist with daily tasks, monitor medications as allowed, and prepare progress reports to ensure high-quality resident care. Full-time roles include extensive benefits; part-time roles mirror core offerings.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Our Caregivers

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
