Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider for IVY Park at San Marino, a premier senior living community in California. The Care Provider assists residents with daily living activities and supports independence and quality of life in line with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include aiding ADLs, responding to resident needs with dignity, communicating changes in condition to supervisors, maintaining a safe environment, and promoting teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, confidentiality.
• Report observed changes of condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
