Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to support our client in the Youngwood area. If you’re committed to providing high-quality care and want a rewarding role with consistent hours, we’d love to hear from you!

Afternoon shifts start at 1:00 PM, with weekday and Sunday availability. We offer a flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, daily pay, overtime pay, paid orientation and training, paid time off, benefits, a referral program, and 24/7 office support.

Qualifications

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
