Job summary

Right at Home Temecula is looking for compassionate Caregivers to provide personalized in‑home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in clients’ homes. You will be part of a supportive team that emphasizes thorough training, resources, and ongoing assistance to help you succeed in the role.

Responsibilities include helping with transfers, daily living tasks, meal prep, errands, bathing, medication reminders, basic ROM exercises, and meaningful companionship.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Pass a background check.
CNA/Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with transferring/moving clients within the home.
Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, linens, laundry, bathroom).
Prepare meals and snacks as instructed.
Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
Assist with bathing, showering, dressing and grooming.
Offer medication reminders.
Assist with prescribed ROM exercises.
Provide companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles).

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Caregiver, you will have the chance to perform a variety of tasks, including:

Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home
Performing housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
Bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving clients
Assisting with medication reminders
Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
Providing companionship activities, such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, you must:

Be a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate holder
