Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care across Temecula Valley and North County SD. Opportunities for full-time and part-time roles with flexible shifts, including mornings and overnights.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; bilingual a plus.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferably one year of caregiving experience, but no less than six months. Training available.
• Reliable transportation to and from each shift.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
• Ability to pass a full employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place.
• Performing household activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning the bathroom.
• Preparing/cooking nutritious meals and snacks.
• Providing transportation and accompanying clients on errands or appointments.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, crafts, games, puzzles, etc.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for providing compassionate care by helping individuals with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 years of age
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job; BILINGUAL a plus
