Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking compassionate Weekend Caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with various needs in Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas. This weekend-only, part-time role offers Saturday and Sunday shifts and focuses on helping clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, and caregiving duties include personal care,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or personal care is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required.
• Ability to provide care for clients with a wide range of physical and personal care needs.
• Comfortable working in homes with pets.
• Experience with mobility equipment is a plus.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with mobility using transfer equipment as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, or community activities.
• Observe changes in clients' condition and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
